Event Details
This year marks 100 years since Belstaff was founded in Stoke-on-Trent. As part of our year-long centenary celebration, we’re returning to our home city to host a weekend-long archive exhibition and brand experience at the beautiful Gladstone Pottery Museum.
Belstaff was built by passion and perseverance but most importantly, by people. Our story is a human one. This first-of-its-kind exhibition pays tribute to the hands that made our products, and the backs on which they’ve fallen. We take pride in our British roots, honouring what has propelled us forward over the last 100 years, as we ready ourselves for 100 more.
Curated with the support of some Britain’s most knowledgeable collectors – this is a unique opportunity to see some of our rarest and most collectible designs up close, including those worn by the likes of mountaineer Sir Chris Bonington, motorcycle legend Sammy Miller MBE and actor Steve McQueen.
Belstaff has been connected to this part of England since day one. Our first factory was located on nearby Caroline Street, just a stone’s throw away from the exhibition. This is an overdue homecoming for the brand, as we welcome friends, fans and former factory workers back to celebrate with us.
Throughout the event, exclusive and limited-edition Belstaff pieces will be available to purchase from our moving pop-up shop, and food and refreshments will be available at the Belstaff cafe. On Sunday, collectors and vintage sellers from across the country will be coming together for a one-off vintage clothing market - Belstaff's Archive Yard Sale. Sellers will showcase a range of pieces, from rare military surplus to hard-to-find design collectables.
All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated directly to the Friends of The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery, a charity that help to promote, support and develop Gladstone – an iconic piece of British industrial history.
